Wealth analytics run as a separate server application
Given a portfolio or index, the Wealth application computes the value of an investment in that entity through time. It allows for an initial investment and a monthly deposit into that investment.
What the Wealth app computes
The Wealth app is designed to translate a portfolio or index path into an investor-level wealth experience. Rather than only showing returns, it shows the dollar value of an investment when capital is committed at the beginning and additional deposits are made over time.
Initial investment
Start with a selected initial dollar investment in a portfolio or index.
Monthly deposits
Include a recurring monthly deposit to observe how continued investment affects ending value.
Portfolio or index path
Compute the resulting investment value for the selected entity, whether it is a designed portfolio or a market index.
