Active ETF Design for a Wider Investment World
5thN Financial · Active ETF Design
Active ETF design powered by EPT, HiFuPi, and computational portfolio research
A static website for explaining research-driven active ETF concepts, with clean links to live online analytics running on separate application servers.
This site is designed to communicate the 5thN Active ETF design process clearly: the theory, the fee model, example active ETF concepts, and the analytics layer that can run separately in server.
Expanded Portfolio Theory
EPT is presented as a broader computational framework. When the embedded assumptions of Modern Portfolio Theory are imposed, EPT can reproduce the MPT solution. Without those imposed assumptions, EPT can explore a much wider range of portfolio design situations.
HiFuPi Asset Model
HiFuPi is positioned as the asset model supporting portfolio exploration, backtesting, universe selection, and design testing across active ETF concepts.
Static Site + Live Apps
The web site stays fast, and static. Live applications run on a separate server and are launched through polished action buttons.
Design workflow
1. Define the ETF problem
Specify the investment universe, objective, constraints, reallocation rules, turnover expectations, and policy limits.
2. Model the asset environment
Use the HiFuPi asset model to organize portfolio inputs, testing universes, and scenario assumptions.
3. Solve through EPT
Use Expanded Portfolio Theory to search beyond the narrow set of assumptions normally embedded in classical portfolio optimization.
4. Review through analytics
Launch external apps for interactive exploration, wealth-path visualization, assumptions testing, and backtest review.
This website describes example active ETF design concepts and research methods. It is not an offer to sell securities, investment advice, or a representation that any example fund exists or will be launched.
